This is one of the four models that I had made for my graduation project. It is a recreation of a vehicle called dynasphere, created in the 1830s to compete with the cars of that time. The project was sadly cancelled after two prototypes.
My goal here was to recreate Dynasphere with the given reference and to push ma knowledge of drivers and restriction for animation in Blender. Since this was a more "recent" invention I was expecting to have more details about the overall dimensions, but all that I could find was its height of 3 meters. It has a manageable number of 31K polygons, that would still manage in more realistic games. Animation is made easier by the drivers and restrictions that automatically spin the wheels as you move the model (only in Blender) and the arrows that are visible in 3D menu allow for tilt and roll of the cabin.
This model has some minor details missing (engine for example), that are not that important to the final look of the model, despite that I count this model as a success because it manages to deliver the felling of scale and bizarreness that was dynasphere.
